Getting ready for your appraisal appointment is a breeze! I always recommend putting together a list of improvements made to the house, along with approximate dates. I like to start my inspection on the interior, starting from the basement (if applicable) and work my way upstairs. I take photos and work on my floorplan as I walk around. Don’t worry about housekeeping, as my primary focus is the house! I end with the exterior inspection, where I take my measurements and exterior photos.
